You will help make customer sign-in and session services more reliable.

• Set and track reliability targets (SLIs and SLOs).
• Automate repeat work with Python, Bash and Ansible.
• Lead incident response and improve alerts.

• 5+ years of experience.
• A work authorization that matches the line under "Who can apply" below.
• Able to work hybrid in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 3d).
• Open to a 12+ month contract, on W2 or C2C.

The project

Project: Reliability uplift for high-availability customer authentication and session services.

Duties

• Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for critical service tiers
• Automate toil using Python, Bash, and Ansible; build self-healing runbook automation
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem documentation
• Run chaos testing and capacity/load testing with JMeter and Locust
• Improve alerting quality in Splunk, Datadog, and PagerDuty to cut alert fatigue

Hybrid:

you work some days at the client site and some days from home. "Hybrid 3d" means 3 days a week at the client site; "Hybrid 2d" means 2.

Remote:

you work from home. "100% Remote" and "Remote (US)" mean fully from home, from within the US.
