You will help design a future data platform, from storing data to keeping it safe to using it for analytics.

• Draw up the reference design for the data platform.
• Lead design reviews on Snowflake, Databricks, AWS and Azure.
• Set rules for data quality, privacy and security, and guide engineering teams.

• 6+ years of experience.
• A work authorization that matches the line under "Who can apply" below.
• Able to work hybrid in New York, NY (Hybrid 3d).
• Open to a 12+ month contract, on W2 or C2C.

The project

Project: Target-state data platform architecture spanning lakehouse, governance, and analytics consumption layers.

Duties

• Define reference architecture for ingestion, storage, cataloging, and access control
• Lead design reviews across Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS/Azure data services
• Establish data governance, lineage, MDM, and PII/encryption standards
• Produce architecture diagrams, ADRs, and migration roadmaps for stakeholders
• Guide engineering teams on best practices, cost optimization, and scalability
